The pizza guy saved his life!

Linn’s wife, Kami said she had just dialed 911 when the deliveryman knocked on the door to deliver their order. Kami said “We were just talking and all of a sudden George said, 'Oh no,' and grabbed his neck and collapsed onto the floor."

Wuebben is a combat medic and Iraq war veteran who turned to delivering pizzas at Johnny's New York Pizza after he was laid off from a paramedic job in Illinois. Wuebben told the hysterical Kami Linn that he was an Emergency Medical Technician and performed CPR on George until an ambulance arrived.

"He runs in and immediately does CPR on George who has gone into cardiac arrest and has died," said Kami. "He revived him and got him to breathe again," she added.

"By the time he had him revived the other paramedics came and took over and said if it wasn't for the pizza guy, George would have died," she said. "The pizza guy saved his life," said a thankful Kami Linn, adding, "Every doctor and nurse has told me that." George Linn was transported to Swedish Medical Center in Denver, where he is listed in serious condition in the hospital's critical care unit.

John Keiley, owner of Johnny's New York Pizza, said "Chris told the woman that he was trained in CPR and knew what to do and he got him on the floor and brought him back to life before the fire department showed up." Keiley said that Wuebben may not have to work at the pizza restaurant for long though; a local hospital and a fire department have both called to offer the deliveryman a job after hearing his life-saving story.
