Office Pizza Party
Everyone loves a pizza party at the office and office parties are always a great way to celebrate accomplishments or build and boost morale. You can throw a successful pizza party at the office in an hour or less with a bit of advance planning and the clean-up is minimal when your local pizzeria does the cooking.
A lunchroom or conference room large enough to hold the entire staff is perfect for a pizza party. The only equipment you really need is the space to party in, as most pizzerias can supply the drinks, plates and napkins too if desired. If you’re on a budget, you can always save a few bucks if you’ve already got a supply of drinks and picnic-ware at the office.
An office pizza party can be simple or extravagant depending on the setting and decor of course, but what matters the most is the pizza. Everyone loves great pizza, but it seems like there’s always someone who doesn’t get the kind of pizza they wanted. Of course, no one is particularly crazy about cold pizzas in grease-stained boxes, so there’s a lot riding on your choice of pizzeria and their delivery service. However, the biggest single factor that determines whether your pizza party is hit or a miss is the pizza itself.
It is not practical or economical to order a separate pizza for every party attendee, so some compromise is inevitable. You can order half-and-half pizzas to increase the variety though, and most pizzerias will be happy to build your pizzas with different toppings on each side. You can take a pre-party preference survey to figure out the best combinations that will satisfy the most people.
If your office is in a metropolitan area, you can probably increase the variety factor of your office pizza party by including a twist to the ordering procedure. Instead of ordering all your pizzas from one pizzeria, it can be fun to order your pizza from several different pizzerias. You can pick out three or four different pizzerias and let your attendees try their hand at rating the pizzas and the service. As long as you plan ahead and place your orders several hours in advance of your party, it shouldn’t be a problem receiving multiple deliveries from several sources. Different pizzas from different pizzerias can really add some variety to your party and increase the chance of everyone getting pizza they like.
When ordering your pizzas, don’t forget to inquire about appetizers and salads that might be available to add even more choices to your party selections. Items like chicken wings, bread sticks and salads are usually available for delivery too. Whether your office is planning a quick office lunch or a full-blown celebration extravaganza, pizza is always right for a party.
