Your Next Pizza Box
From the Department of Good Ideas comes a revolutionary new environmentally friendly pizza box introduced by the Environmentally Conscious Organization, Inc., (E. C. O.) of New York. Normally, pizza boxes are not a very interesting, but E.C.O.’s new “Green Box” is really quite clever and useful at the same.
While most standard pizza boxes in use today are manufactured from 60% recycled material, the ‘Green Box’ is made from 100% recycled material. The Green Box also features a perforated lid that converts into four handy serving plates as well as a base that turns into a storage container for leftovers.
The Green Box base folds into a storage container that is half its original size to save space in the fridge. The environmentally friendly recyclable box can be manufactured for the same price as standard pizza boxes too. The E.C.O. motto of “Innovative Green Packaging Solutions” is fully realized by the fact that the box requires no additional material or major redesign to manufacture. This allows pizzerias to deliver environmentally friendly, more functional packaging to their customers without incurring any additional costs. Add some printed advertising to the box and it serves as an effective way to highlight your pizzas while creating a bit of buzz and excitement around an existing product.
Now your customers can eat pizza and help save the planet at the same time and it won’t cost you a dime more than you are already spending. It looks like the E.C.O. Green Box is an idea whose time has arrived and we’re betting it will catch on quickly.
