The owner of Village Pizzeria grew up in Brooklyn and when he moved to San Francisco in the 70s he missed his New York style pizza that he grew up with. Because of this, he decided to open a restaurant that used New York recipes with California fresh ingredients. They use hand tossed dough, high quality meats, Wisconsin mozzarella, and freshly made sauces to ensure each customer is getting the best product available.
