Tommasos originated 70 years ago as the first pizza joint on the West Coast to use wood-fired brick ovens to cook their pizzas. The original owners emigrated from Naples and used old family recipes for every one of their dishes. After the family decided to retire, they gave the restaurant to their long time chef. Tommasos is currently a family owned and operated chain that holds true to the family recipes used in the 30s. They still seem to be doing everything right to please customers which is seen in their four and a half star rating and over 600 reviews on Yelp.
