Champion pizzaiolo Tony Gemignani of San Francisco's Tony's Pizza Napoletana has come up with an artistic and charitable way to make his fabled Naples-style pizzas a bit more attractive than they might have been in prior months. Tony's Pizza Napoletana is popular all the time, but instead of providing perfect pies in generic pizza boxes, Tony has partnered up with the famous tattoo artist Ed Hardy to create a special run of 10,000 custom pizza boxes adorned with collectible Ed Hardy artwork.

Three dollars from the sale of each custom pizza box will go toward the goal of raising $10,000 for three charities including the Harqua Foundation, Basketball City (New York) and St. Anthony's Kitchen. All three charities benefit children's organizations, food banks and shelters. The Ed Hardy signature pizza is a vegetarian creation that retails for $21 in the tattoo-art inspired box, or you can simply add $3 to any Tony's pizza to get the custom container. The special promotion will last as long as the supply of boxes holds out.
