Pizza is in the news again over at the Chicago Sun-Times. The paper reports that “Pizza-style family fun is cooking at an exhibit at the Kohl Children's Museum of Greater Chicago in north suburban Glenview.”

A translation of the above might be:  the Kohl Museum is using pizza to teach kids how to do math. The "Pizza: Any Way You Slice It!" exhibition will revolve around the mechanics of making pizzas, delivering pizza and even eating pizza, as children learn to count, sort, measure, gather, match, pattern, sequence and share. Instruction on how to clean up a mess in the kitchen was not part of the exhibit.

The Kohl Museum Pizza exhibit will run until May 24, 2010. Museum admission is $7.50 for children and adults; $6.50 for seniors 55 years and older. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; 9:30 a.m. to noon Monday; noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit www.kohlchildrens museum.org.
