The owner of Double-M Pizza in Charleroi, Pennsylvania recently had a close encounter of the deadly kind when a suspect armed with a shotgun entered his pizzeria around 10:45 PM on Saturday night. Although the suspect demanded money, Mark Miller was somehow able to grab his cash tray and run out the back of the restaurant before the robber could respond. Miller then got into a car with one of his delivery drivers and called the local police as the suspect fled the store and drove off.

Now Mr. Miller has a new plan to fight back. After placing a new sign prominently in front of his shop saying, "We Now Carry" Miller says all of his employees will now carry weapons while at work. Miller said "I am encouraging my drivers to carry, get a permit, get trained, and know to use a weapon to prevent something like this from going on." He then added "a well-armed public is the greatest deterrent of crime in the world."
